Jamaica National Building Society To Sponsor True Blue Weekend 2015 – March 13 – 15, 2015 , Miramar, Florida

The Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) announced it’s sponsorship of the  2015 True Blue Weekend & 11th Annual Dennis Ziadie Cup Match. JNBS has been a partner and sponsor of the South Florida event since it’s inception 11 years ago.

The 11th Annual True Blue Weekend will take place on March 13th-15th, 2015. The 3-day event is hosted by The St. George’s College Old Boys Association of Florida, Inc. (STGCOBAFL) and The Jamaica College Old Boys Association of Florida, Inc. (JCOBAFL).

““Each year the True Blue weekend brings together people who are committed to the continued work of this alumni event.  The activities planned over the 3 day weekend ensures that everyone gets a taste of everything including a fete, games, matches and a fun day both for themselves and their families.  At Jamaica National, we support groups such as the Alumni associations that give back to our country that has served us well in instilling in us a love for our people and our Jamaica no matter where in the world we are.  We are all Jamaicans. “” stated Janice McIntosh, Chief Representative Officer, JNBS.
The True Blue weekend is an expansion from the annual Ziadie Cup soccer match between The St. George’s College Old Boys Association of Florida, Inc. and The Jamaica College Old Boys Association of Florida, Inc. The True Blue Event honors the exemplary leadership of the late coach Dennis Zaidie. The annual match is in memory of Dennis Ziadie, who coached both schools to Manning Cup victories. This year will mark the 27th year of the death of Dennis Ziadie in a car crash in Mexico at the 1986 World Cup.  Last year’s match drew over 1600 spectators and supporters.
